Wholesaler To Launch New Retail Supplier
Current Power & Gas Inc. has applied for FERC market-based rate authority, stating an intent to act as a retail supplier
"Current proposes to engage in wholesale and retail electric power and energy transactions, for resale to wholesale, commercial, industrial and retail customers," the company said in its MBR application
"Current Power & Gas Inc. (Current) is a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Houston, Texas, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Current Power & Gas Inc., a Canadian company incorporated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Current acts as a power marketer, purchasing electricity and reselling it to wholesale customers. Current is involved in marketing of electricity and demand response electricity product," the company said
