Delmarva-DE Comments Supporting POR Silent on Specific Implementation Timeline
Delaware stakeholders recently rehashed purchase of receivables in yet another round of comments concerning the proposed program, though what was most notable was the lack of any discussion from Delmarva regarding an implementation timeline to introduce POR should it be ordered by the PSC.
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, the PSC recently rejected consideration of POR in a separate docket (keeping consideration of POR within the investigation of retail market improvements), but in doing so PSC Chair Dallas Winslow said that it's clear the PSC's message is that, "we'd like to get this thing [POR] wrapped up."
Winslow previously said that POR should not be bogged down as part of the broader choice review in Docket No. 15-1693. The PSC needs to "get on" the issue, Winslow previously said
It appears that the PSC will consider POR in concert with the other sought choice improvement at a PSC meeting in late July.
Delmarva did not in its most recent comments on POR provide any more specific timeline on POR implementation.
Delmarva has previously said that POR implementation would take a "couple" of months.
