Affiliate of Spark Energy Acquires Another Retail Energy Supplier
Bargain Energy, LLC is undergoing a change in control under which National Gas & Electric, LLC is acquiring all of the equity of Bargain.
Bargain was acquired by National Gas & Electric on March 31, 2016.
In Ohio, Bargain Energy customers will be transferred to National Gas & Electric's retail supply license
Bargain Energy serves electric customers in Ohio and Pennsylvania
National Gas & Electric is an affiliate of Spark Energy, Inc., and has previously said that it, "is working alongside Spark to develop a strategy that maximizes Spark’s ability to aggressively pursue additional growth through M&A while also serving as a retail holding company for the de-risking of acquired books of customers."
