Duquesne Light Supply Rates To Decrease 10%
Duquesne Light filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new default service supply rates for the period beginning June 1, 2016.
The default service supply rate, or supply charge, reflects generation supply only; unlike the official Prices to Compare which also reflect transmission and the state tax adjustment surcharge. Official new PTCs have not yet been posted
The Residential (Rate Schedules RS, RH and RA) supply charge will fall about 10% on June 1, to 5.8666¢/kWh from the current 6.5398¢/kWh. The new residential supply charge of 5.8666¢/kWh is to be in effect from June 1, 2016 to November 30, 2016.
The Small C&I <25 kW (Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH and Rate Schedule UMS) supply charge will also decrease about 10% effective June 1, to 5.4533¢/kWh from the current 6.0133¢/kWh. The new Small C&I supply charge of 5.4533¢/kWh is to be in effect from June 1, 2016 to November 30, 2016.
The Medium C&I 25-300 kW (Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH) supply charge will be 5.1308¢/kWh for the period June 1, 2016 to August 31, 2016, 5% lower than the versus the current 5.4711¢/kWh
