Connecticut PURA Confirms Termination of Requirement For Retail Suppliers To Send Quarterly Rate Notices
The Connecticut PURA confirmed that the requirement for retail suppliers to send customers certain quarterly notices has been terminated since this information is now included on bills.
PURA acknowledged receipt of quarterly notice compliance filings recently submitted by multiple licensed suppliers, pursuant to the Decision dated on November 5, 2014, in Docket No. 13-07-18. Order Nos. 6-9 in that Decision required, in part, that licensed suppliers submit quarterly notices through the end of 2015. The required information contained in those quarterly notices has since been incorporated into residential bills provided by the electric distribution companies, pursuant to the Authority's Decisions dated January 21, 2015, and August 12, 2015, in Docket Nos. 14-07-19, PURA Investigation Into Redesign of the Residential Electric Billing Format and 14-07-19RE01, PURA Investigation Into Redesign of the Residential Electric Billing Format – Billing Format Clarifications.
"Accordingly, the quarterly notice filings described in the November 5, 2014 Final Decision in the above-referenced docket are no longer required," PURA said
