Pennsylvania Residential Shopping Growing in Six of Seven Large EDC Territories

Pennsylvania residential electric shopping grew in six of the seven large EDC service areas during March, according to the latest stats on PA Power Switch.

PPL was the only EDC among the seven large EDCs to see residential shopping decline from the end of February to the end of March.

Pennsylvania again saw aggregate residential electric shopping increase by a net of more than 5,000 accounts -- making this the fifth consecutive month of such growth

From late February 2016 to late March 2016 (reporting date varies slightly by utility), Pennsylvania saw a net increase of 6,350 accounts in the number of residential electric customers who were on competitive supply statewide. This compares to growth of 5,800 accounts from January 2016 to February 2016

The change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply at each utility from late February 2016 to late March 2016 was:
