In filing comments on the Texas PowerToChoose website, Choose Energy recommended that Texas require the licensure of electricity brokers, and pointed to security requirements in Pennsylvania as an example

"We also firmly believe that energy brokers and aggregators should be licensed by the PUC. The $10,000 PUC [sic] as required by the Pennsylvania PUC, along with a significant application process, is a great example," Choose Energy said
