FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Prices To Compare To Decrease Up To 20%
The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting June 1, 2016.
The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS), which is currently 0%. Official Prices to Compare have not yet been posted.
At Met-Ed, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 5.945¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 7.072¢/kWh
At Penelec, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.020¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 6.516¢/kWh
At Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.819¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 7.878¢/kWh
At West Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.410¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 6.983¢/kWh
At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 6.916¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 7.601¢/kWh
At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 6.465¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 7.244¢/kWh
At Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.498¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 9.479¢/kWh
At West Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.338¢/kWh effective June 1, versus the current 7.504¢/kWh
