Retail Supplier Bundling New Home Monitoring Service With Energy Offers
Major Energy will offer a Ring Video Doorbell at no cost to its customers when they sign up for energy service.
Major Energy said that it plans to offer a free Ring video doorbell bundled with an "aggressive" gas and electricity fixed rate plan to new customers within its footprint using a multitude of marketing verticals.
The Ring video doorbell, provided by Major Energy free with enrollment, is valued at $199 and was named a Time Magazine Top 10 Gadget
The Ring video doorbell notifies customers via their smartphones when someone is on their property and allows customers to see and speak with visitors at their front door even when they are not home.
The self-installed Ring video doorbell connects to the home's Wi-Fi network and sends real-time notifications to a smart phone or tablet when someone is at the door. Using the free Ring app, which is available for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices, customers can see an HD video stream of whoever is at their front door and speak to them using two-way audio. Ring's video doorbell can alert customers when someone presses the button on the doorbell or when motion is detected. Ring doorbells operate on battery power or can be powered through the home's existing doorbell wiring.
