Pepco Residential, Commercial SOS Rates To Decrease

Pepco has filed with the Maryland PSC new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning October 1, 2016, and new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning June 1, 2016

The new October 1, 2016 mass market rates are lower than the year-ago rates for the comparable period, as well as the upcoming summer 2016 rates. For example, the new October 1, 2016 Schedule R Generation Service Charge is about 7% lower than the October 1, 2015 GSC, and marginally lower than the GSC that is to take effect on June 1, 2016

The Pepco-MD rates below, in cents per kWh, reflect only the energy component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliations.
