Ohio Selects Retail Suppliers To Serve Low-Income Customers
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has approved the results of RFPs to award to the load of Percentage of Income Payment Plan customers to a retail supplier at the FirstEnergy utilities and Duke Energy Ohio
The identities of winning retail suppliers, as well as winning prices, will remain confidential until all of the scheduled RFP auctions for the delivery year have been completed.
At the FirstEnergy utilities, 100% of the PIPP load was assigned to a retail supplier for the term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017
At Duke Energy Ohio, 17% of PIPP load was assigned to a retail supplier for the term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017
