TXU Energy Adds Flexibility To Free Nights Offer, Allowing Customers To Pick Hours
TXU Energy has introduced flexibility to its free nights offer, giving customers a choice of a range of free hours
Customers electing TXU Energy Free Nights can now choose whether their free nighttime electricity covers the nine-hour period of period 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., or 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Pricing for the plans vary slightly depending on the free hours chosen
In the Oncor service area, the TXU's Free Nights 24 (8 p.m. start) plan includes an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 12.6¢/kWh, reflecting an energy charge of 14.0¢/kWh, a base charge of $9.95, and pass-through of TDU charges. Customers receive a 100% discount on energy and TDU charges during the free hours.
In the Oncor service area, the TXU's Free Nights 24 (9 p.m. start) plan includes an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 12.7¢/kWh, reflecting an energy charge of 13.5¢/kWh, a base charge of $9.95, and pass-through of TDU charges. Customers receive a 100% discount on energy and TDU charges during the free hours.
In the Oncor service area, the TXU's Free Nights 24 (10 p.m. start) plan includes an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 12.6¢/kWh, reflecting an energy charge of 13.1¢/kWh, a base charge of $9.95, and pass-through of TDU charges. Customers receive a 100% discount on energy and TDU charges during the free hours.
The products include an early cancellation fee of $295
