Reporting by Paul Ring • ring@energychoicematters.com

Public Service of New Hampshire (Eversource) has forecast a nearly 10% increase in its energy service (default service) rate starting July 1, 2016

Specifically, in a forecast filed with the New Hampshire PUC, PSNH anticipates that the company’s energy service charge will increase to 10.94¢/kWh on July 1, from the current 9.99¢/kWh

PSNH is not requesting approval of a rate increase at this time, and will file a formal request to adjust the default service rate based on updated data in a June filing.
