Parent Arranges $2 Billion Borrowing Base Facility For Energy Marketer, Other Businesses
Noble Group Limited announced that it successfully arranged:
• US$1 billion in a syndicated committed unsecured 364 day revolving loan facility (the RCF). The transaction was supported by banks globally with 25 banks participating; and
• US$2 billion in a Revolving Borrowing Base Facility (the BBF), which will be utilized by Noble Americas Corp., Noble Petro Inc. and Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp., each of which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Noble, to fund their growing US business requirements.
The BBF allows for the issuance of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, as well as for loans. The transaction is supported by a group of corebanks led by The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. and Société Générale as Joint Lead Arrangers and Joint Bookrunners.
The Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners of the RCF were The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Hong Kong Branch, Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. Singapore Branch, DBS Bank Ltd., The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, ING Bank N.V., Société Générale and United Overseas Bank Limited. ING Bank N.V. is acting as agent under the RCF.
