Retail Supplier Offering Predictive Usage Mobile App in Pennsylvania
WGL Energy Services announced the availability of a free mobile energy management app for customers in Pennsylvania's PPL Electric Utilities service area
Available to WGL Energy's residential electricity customers, the mobile app provides instant access to their electricity usage to more effectively track, manage and lower energy costs, the company said
The app uses predictive technology to provide customers with both historical trends and analysis, as well as forward looking information, notifications and alerts that can help them reduce usage and be more energy efficient.
The app comes loaded with individual energy usage data and is continuously updated with information received automatically from the account holder's electricity meter.
The app is being made available to Pennsylvania residents as part of a new offering that packages the innovative energy management app with a "highly competitive" price, with the plan including 5% wind power, WGL Energy Services said
