Ohio Discloses Retail Suppliers Selected To Serve Low-Income Load At Three EDCs
Ohio has disclosed the retail suppliers selected via RFP to serve all or a portion of Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customer load for the period June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017
At the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities, 100% of the PIPP load was awarded to Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. for the term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017, with a price of $49.43 per MWh. Constellation NewEnergy was selected from 2 registered bidders
At Duke Energy Ohio, 17% of PIPP load was awarded to SmartEnergy for the term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017, with a price of $44.98 per MWh. SmartEnergy was selected from 3 registered bidders
At AEP Ohio, 17% of PIPP load was awarded to AEP Energy, Inc. for the term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017, with a price of $44.89 per MWh. AEP Energy, Inc. was selected from 3 registered bidders
