The New York PSC has scheduled for June 9, 2016 a technical conference concerning a new clean energy standard (CES) to be imposed on load serving entities such as ESCOs

The June 9 technical conference is to discuss options and issues related to the procurement of and contracting for Renewable Energy Credits (RECs).

The purpose of this technical conference will be to offer interested parties and individuals the opportunity to discuss options regarding the procurement and contracting of RECs as a means to support the financing of renewable energy development, and as the primary mechanism for obligated entities to demonstrate compliance with the CES.
