Texas PUC Revokes REP's Certificate

The Public Utility Commission of Texas issues a final order revoking the retail electric provider certificate of TruSmart Energy, LLC

According to a finding of fact, TruSmart defaulted under the terms of its tariffs for retail electric delivery service with five TDUs in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market by failing to make payments required pursuant to the Tariff.

Per the findings of fact:

Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMPC) asserted that TruSmart owes TNMPC $74,486.21 for service supplied under its tariff.

AEP Texas Central Company (TCC) asserted that TruSmart owes TCC $77,926.16 for service supplied under its tariff.

AEP Texas North Company (TNC) asserted that TruSmart owes TNC $23,562.54 for service supplied under its tariff.

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (Oncor) asserted that TruSmart owes Oncor $565,441.02 for service supplied under its tariff.

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CenterPoint) asserted that TruSmart owes CenterPoint $394,259.00 for service provided under its tariff.

TruSmart did not request a hearing on the merits in the proceeding.
