Texas Maintains Abatement of Sharyland AMS Proceeding
The Public Utility Commission of Texas yesterday maintained an abatement of the proceeding reviewing Sharyland Utilities' proposed advanced meter deployment plan.
Sharyland had sought to unabate the case, with the issue of the AMS surcharge severed to a later proceeding, and other deployment issues adjudicated now.
However, Chairman Donna Nelson and Commissioner Brandy Marty Marquez said that it would be inappropriate to sever the AMS surcharge, and that AMS deployment should be reviewed holistically
