Texas TDU Files To Lower Discretionary Fees Charged to Retail Providers

Texas-New Mexico Power Company has filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas to reduce certain discretionary service charges applicable to retail electric providers as a result of its AMS deployment.

Specifically, TNMP proposes to reduce the Disconnect for Non-Payment (DNP) charge for a standard meter (which is an AMS meter with remote disconnect/reconnect functionality) to $9.67, from the current $12.19

TNMP proposes to reduce the Reconnection After DNP charge for a standard meter to $9.67, from the current $12.19
