AEP Texas Central Provides Interim Update on REP Reimbursements Under Low-Income In-Home Device Provisioning Program As Funds Approach Exhaustion

AEP Texas Central filed a further interim report concerning the program under which Texas retail electric providers are reimbursed for providing no-cost programmable communicating thermostats (PCT) and in-home displays (IHD) to eligible low-income customers.

AEP TCC reported that during the reporting period of May 1, 2016, through June 30, 2016, there were 544 Programmable Communicating Thermostats (PCTs) and 0 In-Home Devices (IHDs) distributed in TCC's service territory for a total of 544 devices. TCC provided $171,000 in reimbursements to participating REPs.

AEP TCC noted that after further reconciliation, TCC has reimbursed 73.54% of the available $800,000 in funds under the program, and has $211,000 remaining in available funds for reimbursement as of June 30
