Sharyland To Hold Meeting With Texas Retail Providers on Operational Issues Related To Introduction of System-Wide Distribution Rates For Service Areas

Sharyland Utilities will be conducting a workshop with Texas retail electric providers on August 2 in Austin to discuss operational requirements upon implementation of proposed system-wide distribution rates for its Cap Rock and McAllen service areas, as contemplated in its current rate case before the Texas PUC. The purpose of the workshop will be to discuss operational requirements necessary to facilitate implementation of the proposed system-wide rates filed in PUC Docket 45414. The meeting will follow the ERCOT RMS meeting

Pennsylvania PUC Issues Final Order Adopting Settlement Regarding Retail Supplier Pricing, Trade Practices

The Pennsylvania PUC issued a final order adopting a settlement among IDT Energy and the Pennsylvania Attorney General, the Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA), and the Office of Small Business Advocate, under which IDT Energy will provide certain Pennsylvania customers with an additional $2.4 million in refunds (for a total of $6.577 million), to resolve a complaint brought by the AG and OCA concerning IDT's variable rates and trade practices in the wake of the polar vortex.
