Texas Retail Provider Launches Ad Campaign To Support New Flat Bill Product

Just Energy has launched an ad campaign to support its introduction of a flat monthly bill electricity product in Texas

The campaign was just launched on Monday, with billboards and radio ads on top 25 stations.

Executives called the timing of the introduction fortuitous, as it coincides with extreme heat in the state, which will push costs under traditional, volume-based bills higher.

While specifics of the Texas flat bill products were not immediately available, in other markets, Just Energy's flat bill product, branded as Predict-a-Bill, includes a single flat monthly service for the term of their agreement regardless of monthly usage, with no true-ups at the end of the term.

It was not immediately known which of Just Energy's retail brands in Texas are offering the flat bill plan.
