Update: Just Energy Launches Unlimited Flat Bill Plan in Texas
Just Energy's new flat bill product in Texas, first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com on Friday, is called the Unlimited plan, and is being offered by the Just Energy brand
Currently, the Unlimited plan is being offered in Houston to residential customers, with a 12-month term.
Under the Unlimited plan, customers pay a flat fee per month regardless of usage. The customer's monthly flat fee is set based on the customer's placement into various tiers, based on home size.
As exclusively reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com on Friday, Just Energy is promoting the Unlimited plan with billboards and radio spots. The billboards beckon customers with the text, "Heatwave? Bring it on." followed by "The Unlimited Plan," along with a phone number, Just Energy's name and logo, and PUCT certificate number.
The Unlimited plan includes a $175 exit fee which can be waived under Just Energy's friendly brand promise. If a customer isn’t satisfied with any Just Energy product they can call Just Energy and be switched to any product even if they are on a contract. If the customer still wishes to cancel, the customer can call Just Energy prior to switching or cancelling and the company will waive the exit fee.
