Retail Supplier Names Former General Mills, P&G Exec as New CEO
Aspirity Holdings LLC, the parent of Aspirity Energy, announced that effective August 15, 2016, Scott C. Lutz, the company’s Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer and has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining a former subsidiary of Aspirity, Lutz operated TK&O Catalysts, a boutique consultancy combining business strategy and commercialization tactics, which he founded in June 2012.
From October 2010 through June 2012, he served as CEO of loyalty program provider Grocery Shopping Network, Inc. and from May 2008 to June 2012, he was Chief Marketing Officer for Life Time Fitness.
Prior to 2008, Lutz held executive roles at Best Buy, ConAgra Foods, General Mills, and Procter & Gamble.
At Best Buy, Lutz served as SVP - New Business Development.
At ConAgra Foods, Lutz served as President and Chief Operating Officer of ConAgra Foods Snack Foods Group
At General Mills, Lutz served as Vice President and General Manager of New Enterprises and later as CEO and President of 8th Continent LLC, a General Mills-DuPont joint venture
At P&G, Lutz served as Marketing Director and Operations Department Manager
As previously reported, Aspirity Holdings LLC, announced last month that Mark A. Cohn had resigned as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company and each of its subsidiaries, due to a medical condition that prevented him from devoting his full-time efforts to the company.
