Texas-Based Discount Power Leads Retail Suppliers, Brokers In Inc. 500 List

Texas-based Discount Power led retail suppliers and brokers in the annual Inc. Magazine 500/5000 rankings of revenue growth at private companies over the past three years.

Discount Power said that it was also the highest Houston-based company in the Inc. Magazine rankings

Discount Power noted that, earlier this year, the company crossed the 50,000 customer threshold, in addition to crossing the 100,000 RCE (Residential Customer Equivalent) threshold.

Discount Power revenues for 2015 were greater than $50 million (noted below) and are expected to cross $100 million in 2016, the company said

Discount Power is gearing up to launch in new market segments in Texas during the third and fourth quarters of 2016. In addition to new Texas markets, Discount Power has future plans to expand into new retail energy markets throughout the United States.
