Dayton Power and Light Files To Transfer Generation To Competitive Affiliate
Dayton Power and Light has filed at FERC to transfer its generation to affiliate AES Ohio Generation, LLC
Included would be 2,510 MW of generation DP&L owns either outright or jointly.
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio had ordered DP&L to divest its generation by January 1, 2017
The transaction does not include DP&L’s shares of Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC). DP&L’s shares entitle it to 111 MW of capacity owned by OVEC and a 4.9% share of energy and ancillary services revenues.
