Texas C&I Retail Provider Begins Listing Residential Electric Offers on Texas Power To Choose
MidAmerican Energy Services has begun listing offers on the Texas Power to Choose site
In Texas, MidAmerican Energy Services offers residential service at Oncor, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, AEP Texas Central, AEP Texas North, Texas-New Mexico Power, and Sharyland Utilities, LP (ex-Cap Rock).
In each service area, MidAmerican Energy Services is offering a 12-month fixed and 24-month fixed product
At Oncor, MidAmerican Energy Services' 12-month fixed product includes an average all in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 7.7¢ per kWh, which reflects a fixed energy rate of 4.07¢ per kWh and TDU charges of 3.0674¢ per kWh and $5.25 per month
At Oncor, MidAmerican Energy Services' 24-month fixed product includes an average all in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 7.6¢ per kWh, which reflects a fixed energy rate of 4.05¢ per kWh and TDU charges of 3.0674¢ per kWh and $5.25 per month
At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, MidAmerican Energy Services' 12-month fixed product includes an average all in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 9.1¢ per kWh, which reflects a fixed energy rate of 4.69¢ per kWh and TDU charges of 3.8779¢ per kWh and $5.47 per month
At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, MidAmerican Energy Services' 24-month fixed product includes an average all in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 9.1¢ per kWh, which reflects a fixed energy rate of 4.65¢ per kWh and TDU charges of 3.8779¢ per kWh and $5.47 per month
For all plans, automatic payment plan customers are eligible for a discount of 1% off the invoice amount, that will be applied as a separate line item on the monthly invoice.
Each product includes an early termination fee of $20 per month
