Verde Energy Acquired Customers From Texas REP Which Is Exiting Market
Verde Energy Texas confirmed to EnergyChoiceMatters.com that it purchased the customers of Texas retail electric provider Andeler Corporation d/b/a Andeler Power earlier this year
Verde Energy Texas acquired the entirety of Andeler's book at the time of the sale. Verde Energy Texas honored all terms and conditions of the acquired contracts
Andeler Corporation filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas yesterday to relinquish its Texas REP certificate, stating that it is not serving customers at this time, and that, "[t]he last customer served ended 7/12/2016."
Earlier this year, Verde Energy Texas also acquired part of the TruSmart Energy customer book in Texas, specifically, the post-pay customers of TruSmart (see story here)
