PSC Hosts Retail Supplier Conference, Examines Regulatory And Operational Issues, "Next Phase" For Residential Market

The Public Service Commission of Maryland has scheduled its 2016 Electric and Gas Supplier Conference for September 29, 2016 in Baltimore

The conference is designed to discuss the current Maryland regulatory and operational environment for licensed and prospective electric and gas suppliers. The event will also allow for networking opportunities with Commission staff, Maryland State agencies and other interested persons.

Notable is a session on The Next Phase for Residential Markets, which will be moderated by Phil VanderHeyden, Director, Electricity Division, MD PSC and includes a panel consisting of:

• Craig G. Goodman, Esq., President, National Energy Marketers Association

• Ron Cardwell, VP Mass Markets, Constellation Energy

• Bernice K. McIntyre, Program Director, Regulatory Strategy, WGL

• Todd A. Snitchler, Esq., Principal, Vorys Advisors, LLC (former PUCO Chair)

PSC Commissioner Jeannette Mills will provide a State of the Market report
