Texas PUC Staff File Proposed Final List Of Non-Volunteer POLRs For 2017-18
Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas have filed a proposed final list of retail electric providers that will be designated to serve as Large Service Providers (non-volunteer POLRs) for 2017-18

Discussing challenges to Staff's preliminary POLR list, Staff noted that Direct Energy Business, LLC (Certificate 10011) and Direct Energy, LP (Certificate 10040) filed a response stating that they believed Direct Energy, LP was inadvertently listed as an eligible POLR for the Small Non-Residential customer class in the Oncor service area, while Direct Energy Business, LLC was inadvertently excluded as an eligible POLR for the Small Non-Residential customer class in the Oncor service area. Staff agreed and made those changes in its final recommendation
No REPs volunteered to serve as a POLR for the 2017-18
On July 7, 2016, the Commission issued an order in Project No. 43518 granting Staff's request to delegate authority to Docket Management to approve the final list of REPs that are designated as POLRs in each even-numbered year. After the list has been approved, Staff will post the final list of REPs designated to provide POLR service for the 2017-2018 term to the Commission's web site.
