Another Retail Supplier Bundling Hulu With Electric Service

Clearview Energy announced a partnership with Hulu under which Clearview will offer to residential customers a 100% green energy plan which includes a Hulu subscription at no additional cost.

Clearview Energy Hulu plans will be offered to residential electricity consumers in select markets across the U.S.

Among other service areas, the plan is offered in Texas (Oncor, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric), Pennsylvania (PPL, Duquesne Light), New York (ConEd, NiMo), Maryland (BGE), the District of Columbia (Pepco), Massachusetts (Nstar, National Grid), Ohio (Duke Energy Ohio), and Connecticut (CL&P) [listed utilities not necessarily an exhaustive list in each state].

In the Oncor service area, Clearview's Hulu plan is offered with a 6 or 12 month fixed rate

At Oncor, Clearview's Clear Green 12 Hulu plan (100% renewable) is a 12-month fixed plan that includes an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 9.4¢/kWh, which reflects an energy charge of 5.3¢/kWh, a pass-through of TDU charges, and a monthly base charge of $4.95. A $200 early termination fee applies
