Retail Supplier Launches Community Solar Business, Names Leadership
Ethical Electric made appointments to three positions to help launch the company’s community solar division under the new name of CleanChoice Energy.
Laura Pagliarulo has joined the company as Managing Director of Community Solar and Energy Innovation. Daniel Murray has been named Chief Technology Officer. Richard Graves has been named Chief Impact Officer.
As Managing Director, Pagliarulo will focus on launching Ethical Electric’s community solar division for residential and small commercial customers. Pagliarulo has over 13 years of energy industry experience, most recently directing SunEdison’s community solar efforts including product development, sales, and marketing. Pagliarulo previously managed the green products division of WGL Energy Services
As CTO, Murray will lead design and development of Ethical Electric’s data-driven propensity modeling and micro-targeting customer acquisition, and CleanChoice Energy Labs – a soon-to-be-formed division encompassing the company’s data and technology teams. Murray previously served as Vice President, Data at the company
As CIO, Graves will work closely with the retail electric and community solar divisions to scale Ethical Electric’s impact and rapid growth. Graves is a co-founder of the company and led the team that secured the SunShot Award.
Ethical Electric said that the appointments will help it expand upon its recent $2.5 million cooperative award from the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative to reduce community solar soft costs at least 75 percent.
