ESCO Proposes Donating LED Lighting Upgrades To Low-Income Customers, In Response to NY Show Cause Order
ABC Energy has proposed donating LED lighting upgrades to low-income customers in a further response to a New York PSC show cause order against the ESCO

In its latest response to the show cause order, ABC Energy reiterated that the LED lighting program that prompted the show cause order resulted in minimal complaints and that ABC Energy took various remedial measures upon the initial receipt of complaints (see further details here)
Additionally, in its latest response, ABC Energy said that it, "stands ready to work with DPS Staff to allow it to restart the LED lighting campaign as a value added service to New York commercial enterprises."
"[I]n addition, in order to demonstrate its commitment to energy efficiency and ethical practices by ESCOs, ABC Energy, working with DPS Staff and not-for profit agencies who work with low income customers, is willing to gift LED lighting upgrades to 100 low income customers. This process will include ensuring that every bulb in 100 dwellings with energy bills subsidized by the state is upgraded to LED technology. ABC Energy would do all of the work themselves and ensure the equipment is installed functioning properly and is satisfactory to the customer. ABC Energy would warranty its work and products in these dwellings for 2 years," ABC Energy said
