Pepco To Lower SOS Rates Next Summer

Pepco has filed with the Maryland PSC new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning June 1, 2017, and new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning December 1, 2016.

The new summer 2017 residential and Type I SOS rates are lower than both the current winter 2016-17 SOS rates as well as the summer 2016 SOS rates by a range of about 5 mills per kWh to 1¢/kWh.

Rates below, in cents per kWh, reflect only the energy component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliations.
