State Launches New Energy Shopping Website

The Massachusetts DPU has launched a new electricity shopping website, Energy Switch Massachusetts, http://www.energyswitchma.gov. Previously the DPU was posting a comparison of rates through a downloadable spreadsheet on the DPU's site. Now there is a separate site with its own domain (www.energyswitchma.gov) and brand, with offers appearing on the webpage itself, with the site offering a more refined experience with more comparison options and choice education information. Texas PUC Sets Workshop on Smart Meter Texas Portal

Staff of the Texas PUC will conduct a workshop on Project No. 42786, Review of Advanced Metering System Web Portals, on Monday, November 14, 2016. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss Smart Meter, Texas (SMT) performance standards that the electric utilities that participate in SMT may include in a new contract for operation of SMT upon expiration of the existing contract.
