Residential Default Service Rate At Massachusetts Utility To Increase Nearly 20%

Western Massachusetts Electric Co. (Eversource) has filed new default service rates for the period beginning January 1, 2017

The proposed new residential default service rate of 9.060¢/kWh is about 18% higher than the current rate of about 7.7¢/kWh

WMECO rates are below in ¢/kWh, and include the Default/Basic Service Adders and Renewable Portfolio Standard and Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard Adders
