Maine Residential, Small C&I Default Service Rate To Decrease
The Maine PUC has approved Standard Offer rates for residential & small commercial customers, and medium C&I customers at Bangor Hydro-Electric (Emera Maine - Bangor Hydro District) for 2017.
For residential and small commercial customers at BHE, the Standard Offer rate will be 6.322¢/kWh from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. This compares to the current Standard Offer rate of 6.630¢/kWh
For the medium non-residential class, the BHE Standard Offer rates will be as follows ($/kWh):
Large C&I rates will continue to be set monthly based on a market-based index.
