Ohio Posts Winning Suppliers From AEP Ohio Default Service Auction

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has posted winning bidders from AEP Ohio's November 2016 procurement of default service supplies for a portion of the June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 delivery year

As previously reported, the November auction procured 17 tranches of supply for the delivery period of June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 and resulted in an average clearing price of $49.78 per megawatt-hour (MWh). The results will be blended with previous auctions to establish a price-to-compare for AEP Ohio’s customers during the delivery period.

During the Nov. 7 auction, five suppliers (of 13 registered bidders) submitted winning bids
