November Marks Highest Monthly Growth in Pennsylvania Residential Electric Shopping Since Feb. 2014

During November, Pennsylvania saw its largest net growth in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply since February 2014.

Statewide, Pennsylvania saw residential electric shopping increase by an aggregate of 8,800 accounts from late October to late November (reporting date varies slightly by utility), up from growth of 3,900 accounts from late September to late October.

Pennsylvania's net monthly residential shopping growth had not exceeded 5,000 accounts since March 2016.

Of the seven large EDCs, PPL and Duquesne Light continued to see a decline in residential shopping from late October to late November

The change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply at each utility from late October 2016 to late November 2016 (reporting date varies slightly by utility) was:
