Oncor: Only $1 Million Left In REP Low-Income Smart Energy Device Reimbursement Program

As of December 15, Oncor had $1.01 million of available funds remaining to cover future reimbursement requests for devices distributed pursuant to the program under which retail electric providers are reimbursed for providing free programmable communicating thermostats and in-home displays (collectively, in-home devices) to low-income customers

Participating REPs can submit invoices for reimbursement for devices distributed during December no earlier than January 1, 2017. Pursuant to the program, these invoices will be considered for payment on a "first come, first served" basis as long as program funds remain available. The received date and time on the email by which a REP submits its invoice to Oncor will be used to determine the order of reimbursement.

It is expected that all remaining funds available under the program will be exhausted with the payment of reimbursement requests for December device distributions (paid in January)
