Reliant Offering Free Nest Cam Indoor With Texas Electricity Plan
Reliant is offering Texas residential customers an electricity plan that includes a free Nest Cam Indoor
The free Nest Cam Indoor security camera is offered as part of Reliant's Secure Advantage 12 plan.
In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, the Secure Advantage 12 plan with Nest Cam Indoor has an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 12.2¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 7.3¢/kWh and TDU charges of $5.47 per month and 4.3222¢/kWh. A charge of $9.95 per billing cycle applies if usage is less than 800 kWh
The plan includes a $150 early termination fee
The Nest Cam Indoor, a $199 value, allows users to view the camera's feed 24/7 via live streaming on their smart phone. The camera monitors for activity when the customer is not home and can be programmed to send alerts if something is detected
