NH Default Service Rate To Increase 11%

The New Hampshire PUC has approved new default service rates at Granite State Electric (Liberty Utilities) for the period beginning February 1, 2017, with the small customer rate increasing 11%

For the Small Customer Group (residential and small commercial), the new Granite State Electric default service rate is 7.630 cents per kWh for the six-month period beginning February 1, 2017.

The current small customer Granite State Electric default service rate is 6.868 cents per kWh.

For the Large Customer Group, Granite State Electric default service rates will be as follows (¢.kWh):

March 2017        7.777 
April 2017        5.923 
May 2017          5.355 
June 2017         7.082 
July 2017         7.678

All rates above include the RPS adder

Calpine Energy Services, L.P. was selected as the winning bidder to supply the three-month blocks of energy service for its Large Customer Group, and for 100 percent of the supply for the six-month block for the Small Customer Group.
