PUC Approves Increase in PSNH Default Service Rate
The New Hampshire PUC has approved Public Service Company of New Hampshire's (Eversource) energy service rate for 2017
PSNH's default service rate, effective January 1, 2017 will be 11.17 cents per kWh, versus the current 10.95 cents per kilowatt-hour. Both rates include bypassable scrubber-related costs
Excluding the 1.72 cents per kilowatt-hour scrubber cost, the base 2017 rate is 9.45 cents per kilowatt-hour
The default service rate of 11.17 cents per kWh will continue barring a potential customary mid-year adjustment, or any potential change in default service rate setting which may result from the auctioning of PSNH's generation.
