Marketing, Telecom Entrepreneur Launching New Retail Supplier
Start-up National Choice Energy LLC has filed for a Michigan electric supplier license and also sought market-based rate authorization at FERC, stating an intent to act as a power marketer, purchasing electricity and reselling it to retail customers and to wholesale entities to balance load obligation changes.
The CEO of National Choice Energy, LLC is James Holmquist
National Choice Energy's Michigan application lists Holmquist's email as associated with the domain of a direct marketing company, CoreMark, where, according to CoreMark's website, a Jim Holmquist serves as President.
Jim Holmquist has founded three telecommunications provider companies and a CLEC, a medical billing company, a direct response measuring company, and other international telecom related startups.
Jim Holmquist is also the founder of Politel, described as one of the nation's largest political tele-fundraising companies with call centers located throughout the Midwest
The address for James Holmquist as CEO of National Choice Energy, LLC listed in the company's Michigan supplier application is the same address (including Suite #) as Online Savings, Inc., which is a toll reseller according to FCC records
