TXU Offering "Season Pass" Electricity Plan, 50% Off Energy Charge During Summer, Winter
TXU Energy has launched a new electricity plan, Season Pass, which discounts the energy charge by 50% during the summer and winter months.
Specifically, for invoices with a current read date occurring in the summer months of June, July and August and in the winter months of December, January and February, TXU will apply Season Pass Savings of 50% off the energy charge.

In the Oncor service area, TXU's Season Pass 24 plan is a 24-month fixed rate with an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 13.7¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 11.3¢/kWh, a base charge of $9.95, and a pass-through of TDU charges.
In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, TXU's Season Pass 24 plan is a 24-month fixed rate with an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 14.3¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 11.8¢/kWh, a base charge of $9.95, and a pass-through of TDU charges.
An early termination fee of $295 applies
