Michigan Utilities File Final Levels For 2017 10% Choice Caps
Michigan electric utilities have filed final levels for the 2017 10% choice caps.
At DTE Energy, the 2017 final electric choice cap is 4,755,118 MWh. Current electric choice participation at DTE (4,903,561 MWh) exceeds the 2017 final cap
At Consumers Energy, the 2017 final electric choice cap is 3,701,501 MWh. Current electric choice participation at Consumers (3,890,075 MWh) exceeds the 2017 final cap
At Indiana Michigan Power (AEP), the 2017 final electric choice cap is 284,605 MWh. There is currently no electric choice participation at Indiana Michigan Power
At the newly formed Upper Michigan Energy Resources Corporation, covering the former Michigan service areas of Wisconsin Electric Power Company and Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, the 2017 final electric choice cap is 88,311 MWh. Note that the cap is based on total sales of the legacy WEPCo and WPS rate zones without the Empire Mine or Tilden Mine sales. The Upper Michigan Energy cap tracking system lists current choice sales as 264,750 MWh
At Upper Peninsula Power Company, the 2017 final electric choice cap is 81,344 MWh. Current choice sales are 87,261 MWh.
At Northern States Power Company (Excel), the 2017 final electric choice cap is 13,881 MWh. There is currently no electric choice participation at Northern States Power.
