Retail Supplier Now Selling At Retail Storefronts, Includes Texas Location
Just Energy has launched a new sales channel with "retail storefront partners," the company disclosed in reporting earnings
The storefront sales currently include five in-store locations with partner retail stores in Texas and Canada, and began about two weeks ago.
Just Energy's storefront partners include an electronics store in Texas and a "multi-store" in Canada.
Just Energy's presence at its retail store partners thus far include a kiosk, but Just Energy co-CEO Deb Merril said the company would approach the storefront channel through "a couple" of ways. Just Energy has partnered with a company that has existing relationships with many stores, and will pilot various concepts.
Just Energy co-CEO Deb Merril noted that the storefront sales channel presents the company's solutions to customers, "already in a buying mode."
Merril said that the storefront sales could become one of the company's largest sales channels in the future, and expects a linear ramp-up over the next 18 months.
