N.Y. Utility Seeks To Expand Smart Meter Deployment To Cover Full Territory
Orange & Rockland Utilities has petitioned the New York PSC for approval to fully deploy advanced metering infrastructure throughout O&R's territory.
The PSC had previously granted authorization, at a specific cost level, of AMI deployment limited to O&R's Rockland County service area.
O&R sought PSC approval for an expansion of the capabilities contemplated under the previously authorized Rockland County deployment, with such enhancements including "near" real-time access to data
O&R also sought PSC approval to expand AMI deployment to Orange and Sullivan Counties
