Oncor Provides Notice That It Will Make Rate Filing
Oncor informed the Public Utility Commission of Texas that it will soon make a rate filing, as the result of show cause orders previously issued by cities with original jurisdiction.
The show cause orders had previously been suspended pending resolution of Oncor's ownership, but several cities notified Oncor last year that they were terminating the suspension.
"Several cities served by Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC ('Oncor') have passed Show Cause resolutions that require Oncor to make a rate filing on or before March 17, 2017. Please be advised that in response to those resolutions, Oncor intends to file with the Public Utility Commission of Texas ('Commission') and each municipality with original rate-setting jurisdiction in its service area an application to change rates. Oncor will make this filing on March 17, 2017," Oncor said in a PUC filing.
